Watch: How our ADHD Assessment process works (1 min)
Not sure if an ADHD assessment is right for you or your child?
Complete a simple 2-minute ADHD screener and receive personalised guidance from a Clinical Psychologist about whether an initial interview is recommended. Your responses are reviewed by a clinical psychologist, there’s no pressure or obligation to book, and you’ll receive a reply within 24–48 hours using the evidence-based tool.
At ADHD Insights, we take a neurodiversity-affirming approach, recognising and respecting the unique ways ADHD can shape how people think, feel, and live. Every assessment begins with understanding. We know that no two experiences with ADHD are the same, so we start with a relaxed, supportive conversation designed to explore your unique strengths, challenges, and goals. Guided by lived experience and grounded in the latest research, our vision is to provide clarity, practical strategies, and compassionate support so individuals and those around them can approach challenges with confidence, harness their strengths, and lead fulfilling lives.

What is ADHD?
ADHD is a brain-based condition that affects focus, self-control, and organisation. It may alternatively present as hyperactivity, or impulsivity.
In adults, ADHD can appear as a disconnect between intentions and outcomes, feeling unsettled or unfulfilled, or living with anxiety or depression that doesn’t improve with typical treatments.
Around 6–10% of children and 2–6% of adults in Australia have ADHD, but many go undiagnosed, especially when symptoms are subtle.
